Jimmie Dean and Deeanna Moore – Jimmie: June 11, 1963 to Oct. 30, 2025 – Deeanna: July 1, 1963 to Nov. 3, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jimmie Dean and Deeanna Moore of Reedsport, Ore., devoted husband and wife, loving parents, and proud grandparents, who left this world just three days apart, their bond unbroken even in passing.

Jimmie was born on June 11, 1963, in Oregon and grew up in Prineville. A timber faller by trade, he found purpose and peace in hard work and the great outdoors. He loved fishing, building model airplanes, and spending time with his family. He will be remembered for his humor, quiet strength, and unwavering devotion to those he loved.

Deeanna was born on July 1, 1963, and was Jimmie’s steadfast partner in life, a woman of warmth, compassion, and creativity who brought light and laughter wherever she went. The two shared a love that spanned decades, built on patience, understanding, and endless care for their children and grandchildren.

Jimmie and Deeanna lived most of their lives in Harney County, where Jimmie worked for ACW and Deeanna volunteered at the Boys and Girls Club and worked at the Senior Center. After retiring from Burns, they moved to Reedsport to enjoy their later years surrounded by the coastal beauty they both loved.

Together, they raised four daughters, Jennifer, Darby, Dawnett, and Jammie, who will carry forward their parents’ kindness, resilience, and love for family. They are also survived by Jimmie’s sister, Joanne Overbay, and six cherished grandchildren who will forever hold their grandparents in their hearts.

Jimmie and Deeanna shared a deep love not only for their family but also for life’s simple joys, the sound of the river, evenings spent talking together, and the company of their loyal dog Spock. Their passing leaves a profound silence, but their love story and legacy live on in everyone who knew them.

A private family service will be held to honor their lives. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you take a moment to appreciate the beauty around you, lend a hand to someone in need, or spend time with those you love, because that is what Jimmie and Deeanna did best.
