The three Hilanders on the BHS women’s wrestling team sent a message to their remaining opponents standing in their way, and that’s “good luck.” Faced against larger schools, the trio pinned their opponents in eight of the 11 matches at the 2026 Jack Berger Invite held at Silverton High School on Friday, Feb. 6, on their way to a first place finish in their respective weight class. The three wrestled their way to an eighth place finish out of 25 schools. Aloha High School took home the team title with 151 points. Stevenson finished second with 122 points, Woodburn 121.5, Barlow 117, Liberty 99.5, Beaverton 92, Glencoe 85, Burns 84.5, South Salem 78.5, and Lincoln scored 76.5 points to round out the top 10 school at the tournament.
