Virginia Bleuler Atwood Phillis passed away at the age of 74 on March 21, 2026. She was born Aug. 8, 1951 in Burns. She attended school in Crane and after graduating from Crane she attended Lane Community College in Lebanon.

She married Daryl Atwood and had two children, Tammy and Daryl Ray. After her divorce, she married Tom Phillis and later moved to Hines where she lived until her move to Chinook Place adult home in Madras.

She is preceded in death by her father, Henry Bleuler; and mother, Donna Gunkel.

She is survived by her daughter, Tammy (Forest) Spencer; and son, Daryl Ray Atwood; sisters, Murna (Don) Arboleta, and Novell Deiter; and many nieces and nephews. Per her request, no services will be held.
