Memorial service — James Sahlberg Obituary March 23, 2016March 23, 20162 A celebration of life/memorial service for James Sahlberg will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 26, at the Harney County Senior and Community Services Center, in the meeting room. All are welcome to come and share memories, and remember this man who loved people and loved God.
I remember Jimmy from First Grade, held in the Harney County Courthouse basement that year. Miss Bonham was the teacher, and looking back, the decor and lighting left something to be desired. I guess the “new” reno of the (Slater) School was not ready. Jimmy had a good spirit and temperament. Reply
