Theresa Ruggles-Whitefeather, 77, of Harney County, passed away Jan. 29 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Boise, Idaho. She was surrounded by the presence and love of three of her sons.

Theresa was born Sept. 11, 1941, in Rhode Island. She was a true adventurer at heart, and would go on to live her life to the fullest in Rhode Island, Virginia, California, and Oregon, in addition to regularly driving all across the country in her traveling van.

Theresa enjoyed many things in life, including spending time at the hot springs, collecting crystals, and attending “rainbow” horse dances. She will forever be known and loved for her eccentric tastes, quirky personality, and exceptionally spirited soul.

Theresa is survived by her five sons, Kenny, Joey, Mark, Eddie, and Matt.

She was preceded in death by her son, Willie. At her request, there will be no funeral or memorial services held.
