Donald Leroy Swindlehurst passed away Sept. 27, at his daughter Katy’s home in Burns.

He was born May 21, 1944, in Burns.

Don loved his family and spending time with them. He loved the outdoors, camping, hunting, fishing, and also enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren participate in athletics.

Don is survived by his wife, Carol Ann Swindlehurst; daughter and son-in-law, Shelli and Jerry Sigado of Redmond; son and daughter-in-law, Dally and Shannon Swindlehurst of Burns; daughter and son-in-law, Katy and Matt Nonnenmacher of Burns; son and daughter-in-law, Ben and Shannon Swindlehurst of Culver; brother and sister-in-law, Joel and Merlena Swindlehurst of Hines; and brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Christy Swindlehurst of Unity.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Virginia Swindlehurst; and great-grandson, Cooper Ayers.

Don’s life was honored and remembered at a small service at the Church of Christ, where he attended, on Sunday, Oct. 6.
