Allison Fay 1986-2019

Allison Fay, 33, passed away in the early morning hours of Dec. 24.

She was born July 23, 1986, in Harney County, where she lived most of her life.

Allison had the biggest heart and every person she met quickly became a friend that she kept forever. She loved her friends beyond measure. Allison will always be remembered for her infectious laugh.

Allison was an avid hunter and fisher, and was happiest when she was outdoors with her brothers or around a campfire with family and friends.

Allison attended Crane Union High School where she was very active in sports. She graduated in 2004 and went on to attend college at Northwest College of Hair Design. She graduated in 2008, and would later go on to fulfill her dream of being a business owner by opening her own salon, Divine Hair Salon.

Allison is survived by her son, LaShawn Robert; parents, Dewayne and LaVerne Hoodie; brother, Brent York, and his wife, Amity; brother, Antoine York, and his wife, Karmen; sister, Deanna York; brother, Michael York; brother, Brandon York; aunt and uncle, Lanette and Allen Humphrey; uncle and aunt, Glenn and Phyllis Dobson; uncle, Tony Fuller; aunt and uncle, Paula and Danny Settle; aunt and uncle, Kim and John Branscomb; Nana Joann York; nieces, Haley, Alice, Alex, and Mykah; nephews, Jessy, Joseph, Gabe, and Lucian. Allison had too many cousins to count, and she loved them all as best friends. She is also survived by her sunshine dog, Sage.

Allison’s whole world revolved around her family, and there is nothing she wouldn’t do for them.

Allison was preceded in death by her Kia, Alice Dobson; aunt, LaVonne Fuller; uncle, Marty Dobson; uncle, Duane Dobson; grandfather, Arnold Dobson; and father, James York.

A celebration of life will be scheduled in Burns this spring. Immediately following, Allison will be taken to her reservation in Omak, Wash., to be laid to rest by her Kia, Alice.
