Silvies Valley Retreat Links & Spa announced the new “Silvies Sunday Slam.” This weekly event is open to everyone. This will be a two-person team event, with the format varying weekly. Play is limited to the first 30 teams. The first Sunday Slam that an individual plays in will be free. Residents of Harney and Grant counties who return to play additional Slams will pay the county rate minus 20 percent. Payouts will be provided to the top three teams each week. Winners will receive free green fees, Pro Shop credit, and/or dinner certificates. Dinner will be $45 for players who dine in the Lodge after the Sunday Slam.
