Home Health and Hospice shares joy for the holidays

Submitted photo

The staff of Harney County Home Health and Hospice brightened the holidays with ‘Bags of Joy’.

The staff of Harney County Home Health and Hospice gifted more than 100 “Bags of Joy” to their patients and the residents of The Aspens, Aspens Grove, Ashley Manor, and Elizabeth Country Manor.

This year has been difficult for everyone, especially those who are health compromised and living in assisted living facilities where visitors are restricted. These gift bags were given in hopes of spreading a little cheer to those who may be alone and to those who are not able to be with their loved ones during the holidays. This is one way that Harney County Home Health and Hospice can help keep spirits high amid a particularly tough holiday season.

The “Bags of Joy” contained toiletries, snacks, socks, and holiday ornaments. The bags were made possible through generous donations from Home Health and Hospice staff and other Harney County employees.

Home Health and Hospice would like to wish the residents of Harney County a blessed holiday season.
