Hilander boys golf takes first; girls place second

The Burns Hilander golf team traveled to the Scotch Pines Golf Course in Payette, Idaho on Monday, May 4. The golf tournament was hosted by Ontario High School.

The La Grande girls team took first place with a score of 475. The Burns girls placed second with 495, followed by Nyssa with 563. Ontario, Baker, and Vale had incomplete scores.

The Hilander boys team won first place with a score of 377. La Grande took second with 384, followed by Ontario with 397, Vale with 430, and Baker with 435. Nyssa had an incomplete score.

Scores for the Hilander girls are as follows:

Hadley Marshall, 119 (4th overall); Victoria Purcella, 125; Valerie Mallonee, 126; Gracie McMullen, 126; and Robin Holtby, 139.

Scores for the Hilander boys are as follows:

Mason Wulff, 90 (3rd overall); Alex Oberle, 93; Adam White, 96; Ethan Peasley-Richardson, 98, and Will Keady, 105. 

Boys JV scores: Ryan Swann, 100; Kempton Richardson, 104; Ross Dowell, 106.
