Thirty-five athletes were honored by MaxPreps and the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) for their performances during the week of August 23-29.

Oregon’s High School player of the week is Burns High School’s Mackenzie King.

During the week, King, who is a sophomore at Burns High School, racked up 46 kills (averaging 3.54 kills a game), 40 digs (averaging 3.08 digs a game), 39 receptions, two assists, eight aces, and three blocks through 13 games played.
