Spark Collaborative Studios is pleased to welcome a new member.

Aurora Wyn Potts is a professional photographer who has resided in Harney County since March 2020. Although she moved to Harney County from Atlanta, GA, Potts has lived in various locations. She even spent six years in the Pacific Northwest.

When asked what sparked her interest in photography, Potts said, “I started photography in 2011 when I was a video editor in Mason, Ohio and realized I was more interested in photography than video editing.”

Potts ultimately pursued a career in natural resources, landing a permanent job in a location that allows her to pursue her passion for photography.

“I strive to capture wild, vibrant, and dynamic images in Eastern Oregon. I like to show people all the cool things to see and do out here, while also creating a fun environment during commission work,” Potts said.

“My favorite things to photograph are probably raptors and water catching light, like from a sprinkler,” she added.

Potts’ beautiful photographs are available at Spark Collaborative Studio, which is located at 341 N. Broadway Ave. in downtown Burns. Her images are matted and ready to pop into your favorite frame.

If you’re looking to send some holiday cheer, two of Potts’ images of Harney County are available as Christmas cards.
