Harney County Clerk Dag Robinson

Harney County Clerk Derrin (Dag) Robinson will conduct a public demonstration and certification of the Clear Ballot vote tabulation system Thursday, May 5, at 9 a.m. in the Harney County Clerk’s Office at the courthouse.

In addition to providing a demonstration of the system, the Clerk’s Office will provide an overview of Election Day procedures.

The Clear Ballot vote tabulation system will be used to tally votes for the May 17 Primary Election. Ballots for the Primary Election will begin arriving in mail boxes on April 27. The last day to register, or change party affiliation for the Primary, was April 26.

Beginning this election, post marks will count on returned ballots. Ensure your ballot is postmarked by election day (May 17) or dropped in an official ballot drop site. In Harney County, drop sites are located in the parking lot of the Hanrey County Courthouse, Hines City Hall, and across from Fellowship Church in Crane.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Harney County Clerk’s Office at 541-573-6641.
