Both Crane and Hines Middle schools joined 12 other teams at the Prairie City Middle School Meet on Friday, April 22.

Hines placed third in the girls events, scoring 71.37 points, and Crane finished sixth with 40 points.

For the Hines girls team, Jocelyn Graham took home first place in the 200-meters. Sydney White finished first in the 800-meters. Megan Weil came in first in the shot put. Hines’ 4×100 consisting of Graham, White, Addie Robbins, and Megan Weil finished first. 

On the boys side, Hines finished in fifth place with 49.5 points, and Crane finished 10th with 14 points.

Lucian Miller, from Hines, came in first in the 400-meter race.

Crane’s Bear Doman finished first in the discus.
