Following an extensive remodeling project, the Hines McDonald’s held a grand reopening ceremony on Wednesday, June 29.

More than 100 customers attended the fun-filled event, which offered cookies, cake, face painting, a raffle, and giveaways.

Co-district Manager Andrea Brown said this was a “much-needed” event for the restaurant and the community.

“The past couple years have been hard on our community and our McDonald’s staff,” Brown said. “There have been so many changes and challenges that we have faced during that time and overcame.”

Brown added, “We wanted to let our customers know how grateful we truly are to them.”

Hines McDonald’s employs more than 40 team members, and is continuing to hire. Wages start at $14.75 an hour. McDonald’s also offers a great training program that promotes growth and development as well as a college tuition program, offering between $2,500 and $3,000 annually for each employee.
