Liam Shepherd finished the tournament as champion in his weight class.

Crane and Hines middle schools competed in the Central Oregon Middle School Districts, which were held in Prineville on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 17-18.

Hines placed fifth with a score of 98. Crane placed eighth, scoring 52 points. Crook County took first place with 282 points.

Liam Shepherd (80), Cannon Kemper (132), and Jasper SkunkCap (150) placed first in their weight class for Hines, and Hayden Cornell (95) placed first for Crane.
