Mary Louise Hanneman, 87, of Burns, passed away on April 3, 2024. She was born on July 24, 1938, in Scipio, Okla.

Mary is survived by her son, Shannon Hanneman; her granddaughter, Haylee Pahle, and her husband, Brian Pahle; grandson, Joshua Hanneman, and his wife, Jamie Hanneman; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Von Hanneman; and her husband, Bud Hanneman.

Mary had a successful career as the Director of the Juvenile Department of Harney County. She found solace and community at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, where she worshiped.

In her free time, Mary enjoyed gardening, sewing, canning, and making donuts with friends. 

A service in her honor will be held in Burns, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on April 27, 2024 at 11 a.m.

Mary Louise Hanneman will be remembered for her strength, kindness, and the love she shared with those around her.”
