Boys track takes third at Homedale; Volle breaks school record

The Burns boys track team finished third at the Amy Christofferson Invite in Homedale, Idaho, on Friday, April 26. The Hilanders scored 89 points with McCall-Donnelly taking home first place, scoring 153 points. Weiser placed second with 97 points, Nampa Christian came in fourth with 86 points and Fruitland finished in fifth, scoring 71.5, to round out the top five teams.

On the girls side, Burns finished in 10th place. Weiser took home the team title, scoring 116.2 points. McCall-Donnelly came in second place with 114.2 points, Homedale 83.75, Nampa Christian 74.45, and Cole Valley Christian scored 58 points, to round out the top five girls teams.

The Hilander track teams are set to host the Burns Lions Arlie Oster Invitational on Friday, May 3. Field events begin at noon.
