We may not have a Costco or a Home Depot but what we have in droves are talented western makers. 

There is simply something about the middle of nowhere that attracts artists and craftsmen like no other. Maybe it is the solitude needed to create, or inspiration from the landscape but whatever the reason we are so happy it does because it allows for a very special gathering…The world’s tiniest Trade Show!

One day only in the tiny town of Frenchglen, on a tiny tv table a curated group of makers exhibit their handmade goods for sale. Held in the Frenchglen Mercantile & Blitzen Coffee House this show is rich in history and community. Last year was the Tiny Show’s first year and was attended by eight makers showcasing their silverwork, beading, leatherwork, and art. Customers came from all over the state and even Nevada and Idaho to shop with these vendors. While they sipped hot coffee made by Amy, who runs the coffee house, customers got to meet the faces behind the work and also mingle with neighbors they may not get to see often. 

After the overwhelmingly positive response of last year’s show all the vendors agreed to do it again this year welcoming a few new faces. The majority of the makers are busy moms who have a difficult time logging the hours required to build a substantial inventory so a tiny table is an achievable goal still allowing their passions and businesses to thrive. And as single member shops these makers juggle all the facets of running their businesses from marketing to production, customer service to fulfillment.

So we would like to extend an invitation to come down to beautiful quaint Frenchglen, on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026 from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and shop some of the most talented western makers out there! Enjoy a simple lunch offered by the Frenchglen Hotel and a coffee or snack from the mercantile. Can’t wait to see you at the Tiny Show!
