VETERAN William “Bill” Joseph Mazziotti, Jr. 1950 – 2021 Obituary February 16, 2022February 16, 20220 William “Bill” Joseph Mazziotti, Jr. was born on Jan. 8, 1950 to William Joseph Mazziotti, Sr. and Anelica Zorich Hahn. He passed away on Oct. 10, 2021 at Saint Alphonsus Hospital in Boise and was surrounded by his wife, Peggy Mazziotti and two daughters, Cheri Chalker and Robin Mazziotti. William married Peggy Lee Albright on July 21, 1968 in Norwalk, Calif. in the First United Methodist Church. William graduated from Downey High School in 1968 and then served in the U.S. Army from Oct. 17, 1969 to April 24, 1972. He served in Kaiserslautern, Germany. He ran a one-man post office and was promoted to supervise five men under his leadership. He returned to the post office to work for a total of 38 years. He worked very hard to be promoted to assistant post master and later went back to craft, clerk and acting supervisor because of all the political propaganda. William is survived by his wife; two daughters, Robin and Cheri; three grandchildren, Chase, Drake and Araelynn Chalker. William was cremated at his request and will be buried with his wife at an unknown date at the Eagle Point National Cemetery He and his family located to Burns on Aug. 17, 2019. He had health issues and complications from his peripheral artery disease and diabetes the past few years. It eventually led to hear problems. Contributions can be made to LaFollette’s Chapel at P.O.
