Brandon John Flescher 1998 – 2026 Obituary August 12, 2026August 12, 20260 Brandon was born Aug. 5, 1998, in Newport, Ore., to James B. Flescher and Nichole Kallas. He passed away on July 25, 2026 in Burns. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a kind, caring, loving, and honest young man who always strived to make people happy, laugh, and smile. He will be forever in our hearts. Brandon is survived by his mother, Nichole; sister, Misty; brothers, Nicholas and Tyler; half-sisters, Chelsea and Lucy; and many close friends that he considered family. He was preceded in death by his father, James; paternal grandfather, Able Flescher; and maternal grandparents, George and Toni Kallas. Brandon attended school in Waldport, Ore., where he lived until he was eight-years-old. He moved to Burns with his parents and started school at Slater Elementary, attended Hines Middle School and graduated from Burns High School, where he participated in baseball and wrestling. He was very outgoing and loved to make friends. He was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in middle school, and in his junior year of high school, he was diagnosed with pancreatitis. We almost lost him that year, he was very sick and in and out of hospitals for months at a time. His first job was at McDonald’s, then he went on to cook at the Truck Stop in Hines, and later cooked at the Apple Peddler. He attended church at the Harney County Church of the Nazarene and dearly loved all the people there. He gave his heart to the Lord and was baptized there. Brandon will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, Aug. 23, 2026, at 2 p.m., at the Harney County Church of the Nazarene, 311 Roe Davis Ave., in Hines. Desserts and finger foods will be provided after the service, downstairs in the Fellowship Hall.
